Listen up! There are times where it is inconvenient or difficult to read a book. You may be driving, you may be cooking, you may be too busy to sit down and read. You may even have an impairment that makes reading anything in print hard.
Audiobooks are an answer to this. Saskatchewan Libraries (including Wheatland) have a wide variety of Fiction and Non-Fiction Books on CD available to patrons and even more are available digitally through our Online Library services with Hoopla and Library2Go.
If you have a Print Disability, you can also access specific materials catered to you through our NNELS and CELA services. Find out more here.
With your library card, you have access to a greater collection of digital Audiobooks through these services:
Hoopla - A regularly changing collection of Audiobooks. You have a limit of 3 items per month, but there is no wait list to slow you down. Returning items early does not earn you the ability to borrow more items.
Library2Go - Our standard platform with a province-wide collection available to you. You have a limit of 10 items at a time and returning your books early frees up space, but some items may have a wait list before you get them.
