Wheatland Regional Library Press Release November 12th, 2008 Wheatland Regional Library will celebrate TD Canadian Children’s Book week 2008 by hosting public readings by author Shane Peacock at the Wheatland Regional Library in November. Shane Peacock’s most recent children’s books “Death in the Air, The Boy Sherlock Holmes, His First Case” and “Eye of the Crow, The Boy Sherlock Holmes, His Second Case” have met wide acclaim and have “been noted by critics for the way in which they challenge young readers: dark, mysterious tales with a great deal of historical detail, and meaning” (www.bookweek.ca/ShanePeacock.htm).
