Wheatland Regional Library Press Release February 1, 2008 Celebrate Aboriginal Storytelling Month with Wheatland Regional Library! Wheatland Regional Library will hold an Aboriginal Awareness Program featuring staff from Wanuskewin Heritage Park at the libraries in Hanley (February 6), Aberdeen (February 12), Viscount and Colonsay (February 14th), Osler and Rosthern (March 17th) and Dalmeny (April 1). All programs are free of charge! This program introduces First Nation culture and traditions to young children with a puppet show, an interactive activity creating a story robe, participating in a round dance and enjoying bannock and Saskatoon Berry punch.
