Description
Our Branch was opened in 1972 on main street Bruno, we relocated
to a donated building on main street in 1999. Our current
facility was donated to the town of Bruno by business woman Marie
Dyer.
We run contests and promotions throughout the year for children. We
have been sponsoring the Sunshine Story time in the summers for
boys and girls ages 4-12.
We have been fortunate to receive some grants for summer students
so we can boost our number of open hours and deliver Story time. Our
Story time wrap-up always includes the Wheatland Owl and a book
party of one kind or another.
This past November we held our first ever Craft Book and Bake sale
in our Branch. We had done so much weeding that our shelves
were nearly empty therefore making it easy to rearrange our interior
and set up tables for vendors. We found it to be quite successful. |
